Sometimes it can seem like challenges in life are ladders, and some of them are very hard to climb-but we are never alone. God is always with us, and He will help us get to the top.
Just to be clear, the “ladders” are trials (difficult things in our lives) and getting to the top means passing the trial by getting through it with our faith intact and even having grown.
I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. Psalm 9:1
The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:9-10
When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:17-18
