One Lawgiver and Judge
Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, He who is…

Blameless in Your Judgment
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You may be justified in Your words and blameless in Your judgment. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive…

Who Forsake the Lord

by
“But you who forsake the LORD, who forget my holy mountain, who set a table for Fortune and fill cups of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you to the sword, and all of you shall bow down to the slaughter, because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did…

Conspicuous or Hidden
The sins of some people are conspicuous, going before them to judgment, but the sins of others appear later. So also good works are conspicuous, and even those that are not cannot remain hidden. 1 Timothy 5:24-25 kit, stacked frames: Recycled by Kristmess Designs Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord…

The Witnesses (Part One)
martyr (noun): a person who is willing to suffer death for their faith rather than: a) to renounce it, b) to keep silent instead of testifying, or c) to behave in such a way as to damage their witness to firmly-held beliefs. Notice how the word “witness” is part of the definition of “martyr.” If…

No Dead Atheists
For Sheol does not thank you; death does not praise you; those who go down to the pit do not hope for your faithfulness. Isaiah 38:18 What an odd thing to say, right? No dead atheists? We know there are plenty of live atheists, and that they do die eventually. But the reason there are…

To Inherit or Not to Inherit
The reason I write about the topic of this article is that people have been deceived into thinking it’s okay. With some of the other things in the list in the Bible passage below, people KNOW they are wrong things to do, but sometimes do them without even realizing it–or they slip from time to…

Light and Salt (or Stand Up for the REAL Jesus, the TRUE Light of the World)
Please don’t think that to be a “nice” person or “good” Christian that you have to accept the ways of the world when they go against the moral values taught in the Bible. Really – God made some people in the wrong gender of body, or He made a mistake when He made genders at…

Search with Lamps
“At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish those who are complacent, who are like wine left on its dregs, who think, ‘The Lord will do nothing, either good or bad.’ Their wealth will be plundered, their houses demolished. Time to Wake Up!
There often seem to be two camps among professed believers in regard to repentance, and they are opposite extremes. One side says that we must work for salvation, or if not, that work is still required to keep it. The other side says that we don’t work for salvation and neither is anything else required…

Weep in Secret
Hear and give ear; be not proud, for the LORD has spoken. Give glory to the LORD your God before He brings darkness, before your feet stumble on the twilight mountains, and while you look for light He turns it into gloom and makes it deep darkness. But if you will not listen, my soul…
